If you have comprehensive or complete coverage on your vehicle then your insurance company will take care of the bill for your windshield replacement and any windshield repairs. You’ll likely only be responsible for your insurance deductible, which is often less than the price of an entire replacement cost out of pocket.
A standard windshield replacement will take between 2-3 hours depending on the age and complexity of the vehicle.
Newer vehicles with ADAS will take approximately 4-5 hours depending on calibration type and the manufacture of the vehicle.
If your vehicle’s windshield has a crack longer than 5 inches then it’s safe to say a replacement will be needed. Another factor that will cause a windshield to need replacement is if your glass has a large amount of pitting or is damaged in any other way.

We can order both OEE and OEM glass for your vehicle. Most customers choose to go with OEE glass because its quality is in line with OEM but has a less expensive cost, making it the most cost-effective option.
Some customers prefer OEM for the logo aesthetics and to keep their car’s original look and feel. If you do want OEM glass from the manufacturer we ask that you call and request it, and we can special order your glass.

I would highly recommend this shop for auto glass repair and replacement. I was extremely impressed with the customer experience, price, and knowledge of the technicians. The customer service I experienced was superb, thanks to Colby, James, Piper, Ty, Dominic and Justin! They greeted me upon my arrival with friendly faces. My car was done in a timely manner, but I didn't mind waiting, as the office and waiting room were both very clean and welcoming. The price was very fair and a great value. I had a windshield replaced on my Alfa Romeo Stelvio yesterday. Chip in my windshield quickly began spidering on Wednesday, these guys got me in Thursday morning for replacement and did a beautiful job! Our interaction with Carefree Windshield Repair started with Justin over the phone at 8:30 AM. He was amazing, patient, and did everything he could to assist my family in getting our window replaced. He was not only happy to schedule us, but also managed to order the window we needed and get us in by 11 AM. (This is something I’ve never seen repair shops do—order a part and have it delivered to them in 2 hours!)

My windshield was replaced yesterday by the great folks at Carefree Windshield Repair. I have used them for years for filling chips in my windshield but not yet for replacement. Justin was upfront with the facts of replacement costs and service time prior to installation. All went as expected. My car was ready even earlier than planned. To my surprise, when we went to fix the tubing for my windshield squirters today (we had been waiting on a part), they had already fixed it and never said a word! Awesome!!

Our appointment was originally scheduled through the dealership after they made a mistake, but James made the entire process incredibly easy. He even used his own personal vehicle to drive about 40 minutes round-trip to pick me up so I could get to my vehicle, saving us from having to coordinate transportation ourselves. That level of customer service is rare these days.
The windshield installation itself was seamless and spotless. We’ve used other glass companies in the past that left behind glass debris throughout the vehicle, but Carefree Glass left everything perfectly clean. The quality of their work and attention to detail were obvious.

I called quite a few windshield replacement services. This is one of the best costumer service I've had in a while. I spoke with Justin, from Cafree windshield, he asked me questions about my truck no oneelseasked. He gave me a quote including taxes and everything. He had everything sent to my phone in minutes. They have a great warranty, also 3 monthes of free chip repair, no appointment just come right in. I made an appointment, came into the shop and was greeted with smiles. They have good coffee, and drinks in the fridge. It took a little over an hour. They were very timely and professional.

I got a windshield put in and it had the complicated camera system which has to be calibrated for all the safety features to work. My technician was Piper who was beyond efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely courteous with a good attitude! I've been coming to Sam at Carefree for 20 plus years and, even met his son Colby once as well. All the employees seem to give you the type of service I've come to expect at Carefree. I only wish I could tip more, but I'm on a fixed income, and have had some unexpected Medical expenses lately. There's just no way I could give a tip that reflects how amazing my service was! Technicians were nice and did quality work. I live in Falcon and they came to my residence and repaired 2 vehicles that had one chip each. One about a nickel in size, the other, a dime. They charged me 77.xx the day of repairs.
There was confusion between multiple parties regarding price due to getting a call the next day asking for additional costs for the repairs.
After some discussion, the representative was able to clarify costs and the total remained at 77.xx.
The price is a good value for the mobile repair of two vehicles.
I encourage everyone involved to get pricing written down when given quotes. This will avoid confusion for all parties.

Great experience! The girl that works the office (I can’t remember her name sadly) was super helpful on the phone when scheduling the appointment and made drop off and pick up a breeze. Work was done fairly quickly and they’re located near Ivywild so you can go hangout there while they work on your car.

I’ve been unfortunate enough to need to use this shop several times with multiple vehicles. I’ve always been a happy camper when leaving. It’s a wonderful feeling when they continue to take care of their customers after the job has been several months compared. The weather stripping started to lift on my windshield, they fixed it without any issues. I was in and out within 15 mins.

Very fast and wonderful service. From phone call to finished product including several quotes for 4 other vehicles including finding a windshield for a 1989 Audi 200 was very quick and being treated like a real person instead of just another job or payment was a relief. Will indeed return when needed! Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best service to repair a cracked motorhome windshield. I would highly recommend them. The service tech was excellent, and the customer service was the best.

I had to replace a window today and they were so professional and welcoming. I watched their interaction with several clients and was impressed with how well they took care of everyone. I've been using Carefree Windshield Repair for over ten years. The windshields are great and Sam does an awesome job installing them. He's replaced three of my windshields over the years. When I need another windshield, they will be the first shop I call.

Excellent choice for knowledgeable windshield replacement or repair. The other customers I had the chance to speak with were very impressed as was I with the way the quote, logistics and repair management was performed. My advice is that when you get a rock chip, come here that day to have it filled and fixed before it becomes a major issue. I have seen the smallest chip take out my entire windshield before. The service area and waiting room was clean and tidy, the service personnel were polite and informative, and the repair was completed quickly without hassle. I will recommend this to anyone who needs high quality repair and doesn’t mind waiting till a slot opens up. My wait was about a week for the replacement to come in. The price and quality was perfect for me! 5 star service!

I just had my car broken into and the passenger side window shattered. Carefree was very professional and fast. The price was the grabbing point for me but the service and people that work there were amazing. I would and will suggest this place to anyone and everyone. Stacia (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong) was so friendly and compassionate.

These guys are fantastic! My quote came in well under all the others and although my initial appointment was a week out, they managed to get me in the very next day and weather proofed my vehicle right away. I had my rear windshield replaced and the whole experience went smoothly. I would recommend them and will certainly be returning for any glass replacement or chip repairs I have in the future. I’m grateful for their flexibility and consideration.
