Our Warranty
Autoglass Replacements
Carefree Windshield Repair’s warranty covers its glass replacements against manufacture defects in the glass and/or workmanship as long as you own the vehicle.
To qualify
You must notify us within 7 days of discovering the defect and schedule an inspection within 14 days of discovering the defect. We are not responsible for any damage caused by your delay in notifying us within 7 days of discovering the defect.
Carefree Windshield Repair must be given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle damage prior to the approval of any warranty claim.
Rock Chips or other damage to the glass from foreign objects are NOT covered under this warranty furthermore Auto glass damage resulting from vehicle collision, auto theft, vandalism, owner negligence and natural disaster is specifically excluded from our auto glass repair and replacement warranty.
This warranty is not transferrable to another owner/lessor.
No other warranty, neither express nor implied, applies.
Repairs
Our repair process involves injecting a special bonding resin into the damaged glass.
Best results can be obtained when:
– The damage is less than 48 hours old
– The impact is small
– There are little to no cracks around the damaged area
– There is no moisture, debris, or foreign matter in the damaged area.
Our warranty covers the repaired portion of the windshield against continued cracking, and warrants that the repair will pass any state vehicle inspection.
If more damage from the point of repair occurs we will credit the cost of your repair toward a replacement performed by Carefree Windshield Repair.
DISCLAIMER
In some cases, through no fault of the repair technician, during the repair process the damaged area may become larger and require a windshield replacement. These instances are not covered by the warranty and Carefree Windshield Repair is not responsible for the cost of the windshield replacement or any additional damage.
Recalibration
Our recalibration service is covered for one year from the date of recalibration or until the next required recalibration, whichever comes first. A recalibration event is determined by your vehicle manufacturer and may include situations such as a collision, windshield replacement, disconnection or removal of the camera, or vehicle realignment.
For details on recalibration events specific to your vehicle, please refer to your owner’s manual.
It’s important to have your vehicle recalibrated by a certified specialist before relying on advanced safety systems. These systems are designed to assist but should not replace safe driving practices.
Always drive with caution, follow all traffic laws, and remember that advanced safety systems are only a supplement, not a substitute, for responsible driving.
Exclusions
Before each installation, **Carefree Windshield Repair** technicians inspect the vehicle for any visible damage and document the findings on.
**Carefree Windshield Repair** is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle that existed prior to service. In some cases, we may not discover damage to the vehicle until we remove the glass. This might include rust or other damage to the pinch weld or frame that prevents a safe installation. In these instances, prior to any installation, you are responsible for all costs to repair the damage or rust, including the cost to transport your vehicle to and from a qualified body shop if necessary.
Damage not resulting from defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty.
IN NO EVENT SHALL **CAREFREE WINDSHIELD REPAIR**, ITS PARENT AND/OR AFFILIATE COMPANIES, BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ASSOCIATED WITH THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF YOUR GLASS.
If you live in a state that does not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, this warranty exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
